The D.O.E. Collective was born from seasons of rapid change — loss, love, celebration, and everything in between.
BEHIND THE NAME
The name The D.O.E. Collective comes from Lyle H. McGrath — a self-proclaimed Director of Entertainment who believed that gatherings mattered, people mattered, and memories were worth making big.
When Lyle passed unexpectedly, his daughter was left with photographs, shared moments, and a deep realization: when the noise fades, memories are what remain. That belief became the foundation of this brand — a commitment to presence, intention, and honoring the moments that deserve care.
A SEASON OF CHANGE
Life Doesn’t Pause — And Neither Do We
At the same time this idea was taking shape, our partnership was navigating another life-altering season. Courtney became pregnant while in the midst of planning her wedding — a moment that required grace, flexibility, and a complete shift in priorities.
Welcoming her son, Wylie D. Eaton, reinforced what we already knew to be true: life moves fast, plans change, and the moments you pause to celebrate matter more than anything else.
